Your calculator inputs
The calculator runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your earnings, occupational scheme details and employer National Insurance figures are never transmitted to this site or to anyone else. They are not stored, not logged and not saved between visits. Close the tab and they are gone. Given that these figures relate to pregnancy and pay, that is a deliberate design choice rather than an accident of being a small site.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Analytics and advertising
There is currently no analytics script, no advertising network and no third-party tracker on this site. If analytics are added later, this page will be updated before they go live and will name the provider.
Fonts
Inter and JetBrains Mono are served from this site's own domain, not from Google Fonts. No font request leaves for a third party and no IP address is shared as a result of loading type.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent and requested URL in order to serve pages and protect against abuse. This is handled under Vercel's own privacy terms and is not something this site queries, exports or retains separately.
If you email the address on the about page, your message and address are kept only as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of any correction made as a result.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data held about you. Since this site holds no personal data beyond any email you choose to send, in practice that means asking for your email correspondence to be deleted. Ask and it will be.
